New Teammates Rowbury, Hassan Set to Test Their Fitness

Organizers of the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix announced a star-studded women's 3,000-meter field, set to compete at their event Saturday, Jan. 28 in Boston. Leading the way are new Nike Oregon Project (NOP) teammates Shannon Rowbury and Sifan Hassan.

Hassan joined coach Alberto Salazar and his team in recent weeks, as she looks to make another jump in her international performances. 

Adding to the mix are Hellen Obiri and Dawit Seyaum.

On paper, the race should be close from start to finish, although Obiri's PR is significantly better, but with it so early in the season, anything is possible
