Webb's Re-Entry Completes Stellar Men's Mile

The final event of Saturday’s New Balance Indoor Grand Prix will be the Men’s Mile, and it’s clear that this year’s meet is saving the best for last. American Outdoor Record holder Alan Webb’s re-entry into the field has set up what’s sure to be a thrilling race over eight laps. Webb will face, among others: New Zealander Nick Willis, the 2008 Olympic silver medalist at 1500m and two-time defending champion at this event; Leo Manzano, the fastest American miler from last year; Rob Myers, the 2009 USATF Indoor 1500m Champion, Pablo Solares, the Mexican record holder at this distance; and high school senior Lukas Verzbicas, America’s fastest high school miler last year. Who will win is anybody’s guess…

Tickets Sales Available Online Until Saturday Morning

If you haven’t gotten your seats yet for the 2011 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, tickets will beavailable for purchase online until 10AM on Saturday, Feb. 5. After that time, any remaining tickets will be made available for cash sales at the Reggie Lewis Center beginning at 2:30PM. Get your seats now before they’re gone!

Public Transit, Directions and Parking

If you’ve got your tickets and you know which track stars are set to compete, all that’s left is to figure out how you’ll make your way to the track. The Reggie Lewis Center is located at 1350 Tremont St, at the intersection of Malcolm X Blvd, in Boston. The Orange Line’s Roxbury Crossing Station is conveniently located directly across the street from the Reggie Lewis Center, making public transportation an excellent option.

If you’re planning on driving to the meet, directions to the Reggie Lewis Center can be found here. Free parking is available both behind the facility, as well as at the intersection of Columbus Ave and Cedar St, just one block west of the facility.
